My best friend Kyle and I started our parent company CK Automotive at 21 years old in a small shop at his home. For the first couple years, I was still working full time at Pierce Manufacturing. Those years were filled with a lot of long days of spraying all day, and working 3rd shift at Pierce, but it was worth every minute of lost sleep. Eventually, I was able to leave Pierce, and Kyle and I decided to dissolve our partnership on great terms. This is when Bedliner Specialists was born. I moved out of that shop to my uncle’s shop, TJ’s Auto Body where I had a small corner in the back. During that time, my business really took off, creating the need to purchase my own bigger shop where we are located now. 20 years later, and we are still in business, thanks to all our customers! We are a small business with limited employees. At our shop, you will still find me working on each project that comes in.
How It Started
I was born and raised in Freedom, WI. It was important for me to keep my business here and build my adult life here with my daughter Lili, girlfriend Kenlyn, and our two dogs- Puck and Brantley. Outside of work, you will find me spending time with my family, playing pool, or continuing my family’s long-standing tradition in racing.
I believe family is the most important part of life and treat my business and customers as my own. You can guarantee your vehicles will be taken care as if they were mine.
